Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to carry out inspections, maintenance work, repairs, replacement and installation of AAQS equipment requested by the nominated superior
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. Integrated partner/support/challenge for external certified companies during their services
  • Revising and updating maintenance plan, spares inventory, documentation, tools etc. Analysing historical data and creating proposals for improvements (i.e. retrofits, update of equipment).
  • Creating requisition of spares, consumables, tools and equipment for Riding Team
  • Allocate general and daily responsibility
  • Guidance and control of work results given to all subordinates
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
  • Work independently for assigned duties as required by the superior, lead and instruct the assigned Team Member
  • Ensure effective communication on board and ashore related to fulfillment of tasks
  • High attention is given to the cleanliness of execution and smooth workflow while operation and out of service
  • Report and document executed services to the onboard and onshore stakeholders
  • Training and guiding on-the-job ship personnel

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Engineer, Ships mechanic, Bosun or similar
  • Experience with AAQS Equipment systems on cruise ships not less than 2 years preferable
  • Craftsman skills which includes handling of all usual tools
  • Mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical skills
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Experience with EGCS systems
