As a Project Controller at Ramboll, you will get your own project portfolio and have a close contact with project managers and department managers to ensure ongoing clarification and control. You will have a proactive and service-minded approach towards your stakeholders, and at the same time you will challenge status quo with new findings. We invite you to bring your analytical skills and action-oriented mindset into our team. Prior experience with project controlling is an advantage for this role, but not a prerequisite.

You will join our Business Finance function
Business Finance delivers business controlling, project controlling and financial project support to all Ramboll’s Markets operating in Denmark.
We work in 6 Market based teams, including colleagues in Denmark as well as India.
Business Finance consists of 60 employees and the majority work in our head office in Copenhagen. As our new colleague you will be part of our Water and Environment & Health team within Business Finance consisting of 10 employees. Your manager will be the Team Lead in Business Finance for Water and Environment & Health.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Overall responsibility for ensuring correctness of project portfolio data and financials in ERP.
- Month closing, including budget adjustments, analysis of revenue recognition and dialogue with Project Managers
- Reducing working capital days through follow up on invoicing and payments
- Cost Controlling
- Advise and support Project Managers in financial management issues
- Close coordination with your team mates on all business and project controlling tasks, including best practice sharing and setting priorities
- Engage in further development and improvement of the Danish Business Finance function

- A relevant education (HD, B.Sc.) with focus on finance and/or administration
- An interest in project controlling and a passion for learning new skills
- A few years of work experience - preferably from a financial position, but it could also be experience from another field within data handling or analytics.
- Fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
- Flair for new IT systems
